A number of new application features and efficiency improvements have been added to offer users even greater flexibility and automation. This release includes new versions of all iAM products: iAM for Development, iAM for Production, iAM Analyzer, iAM for Visual LANSA, iAM for Windows Deployment and the new iAM for End Users, an automated deployment solution for Windows PC users.

In addition to full support and integration of LANSA, features include: the complete automation of promotions between partitions; impact analysis at the level of Field, File, Function, Visual LANSA and LANSA for the Web components; automated roll back; six LANSA-oriented development tools; a direct link with the entire LANSA Repository including task tracking, version control, support of multiple LANSA installations, support of all LANSA definition and object types (System i, Visual and Web); support of System i native sources and objects (e.g., RPG, COBOL); support of IFS/QDLS documents and objects; archiving; powerful set up and security options; and distribution on multiple computers.

iAM is entirely written in LANSA, has a LANSA look and feel and is completely integrated to the internal structure of LANSA on both the System i and Windows platforms. iAM supports all LANSA products including LANSA for iSeries, Visual LANSA, LANSA for the Web and LANSA Integrator.
